Is is just me, or does it seem that most design sites and blogs are geared towards women? Reality probably is, (correct me if I’m wrong) men don’t spend as much time thinking of designing their place as women do.
The average guy has the TV and stereo thing down pact, and then some basic elements, a bed, couch and something to put the remote control on. (Come on guys admit it!) Brad, our first test client for LiveLikeYou happily admits he falls in that category. He wants a nice place, but doesn’t have time, doesn’t know where to begin, and is unsure of what his style is. Designing and furnishing his apartment, which I’ll cover in the next two weeks on blog, gave me great insight to the single guy’s approach to design. On our upcoming LiveLikeYou, where we’ll be selling designed rooms online, we’re going to have many masculine looks, offering easy design solutions for the the bachelor wanting something more than just the basics.
Here are some images of masculine interiors I really like. (If it’s only women reading this…then show your boyfriend, husband or “man” friend.)

Great closet!

If you live in the LA area definitely check out PlantationLA in Venice and Hollywood if you haven’t already. They design an awesome line of furniture. I’ve been begging them to open up on the East coast!
