Here are some pictures inside my last week via Instagram(@jillhsorensen.) I’m posting pictures there daily so I will always remember this crazy period of change!

Cherry blossoms by our entrance in full bloom!

Not sure if spring is inspiring me, but the new line of pillows, carpets and draperies I’m coming out with are all in light spring like colors.

Bedding ships out all the time!

Next Wednesday our new site launches. Thank You so much for your patience on our very SLOW site. It’s driving me crazy!

Silk wallpaper and colors for a client’s dining room.

One King’s Lane items shipping out.

    Soccer game.

As items ship out, boxes are coming in from Luke’s dad’s house which was finally sold.  I’ve never unpacked and packed so much in my life. And it will go on for another couple of months!

    Stylish classic client install.

    New York I love you!

Eric Clapton at Madison Square Garden.

Hope you had a great week!

Hope you had a great long weekend!

Sharing some pictures and instagrams from my week.

Taking inventory pictures at home.  Trying to get everything organized.

Highly recommend keeping a book of pictures of all your house items with receipts of each purchase, it will make life so easy if you ever move or make changes or need to sell something.

More inventory pics. Don’t think this armoire in my bedroom has ever been shown anywhere.

Tree of life.  Had to instagram this amazing tree outside Luke’s school.

Reminds me of a card I once got from my friend Julie. The branches grow from all the ideas you have, and you can do it all.

Client install of headboard. This is the new Lucas headboard shape.

What’s life without furry love? Ms. Lucky, Lucky Charm but she ends up being just Lucky.

    Hello Manhattan!

Even in the dead of winter Manhattan rocks.

Instagram of client apartment. My MARK carpet.

    Manhattan at dusk = magic.

    Just like Paris at dawn.

TGIF – relaxing at Dan’s NYC place.

Most amazing floor in town….the penny floor at The Standard Hotel.

    Hmm…wonder what it cost?

Best parking spot at the train station. Roof over looking capitol, yet not many people drive up here to park.

Sending a prayer out to my dad who is having surgery this morning. Hoping it all goes well.

January…perhaps not my favorite time of the year.  Cold, dark days, and is there anyone out there not sick???

Here are some snapshots from my week.

I’m out the door at 7.10am every morning – this is the first that I see….

    Yes doesn’t warm you up.

The garage is so packed full of stuff I’m working on at the moment so the car is parked outside.

It’s pretty chilly waiting for the school bus some days.

Lots of work going on. I can hardly keep up.

But grateful for that.  Just need to learn to pace myself. On the floor….

(my new MAZE carpet in gray & pink)

    On my desk….

(love the Jonathan Adler fabrics and sea grass wallpapers)

    On the floor…

(this is only one of many piles)

    At a client…..

My new carpet the MAZE in paradise pink and brown with the pink artichoke lamp. Love with the turquoise wall.

Another cold morning after a snow dusting.

    Drawing patterns with Paul.

    (Pagoda headboard)

Taking a break at a “perch” at the design center. I rush through here like a mad woman.

If you don’t it swallows up your time!

Picking out items Luke will inherit from his dad’s house who loved antiques and art.

Feels strange. Now I’ll keep it for Luke.

Checked out the cover of Kelly Edward’s from HGTV new book that I have a “design recipe” in, my bedroom.

Looks like a fun book. Will let you know when it’s out.

Cool- my Emerald fancy Greek Key Pillow on Molly Sims site.

Alright, hang in there all of you who don’t like this time of year.

Just another six weeks of this!

I had the instagram app on my phone for months and ignored it. I didn’t quite understand why people cared about some photo filters. But when my friends Erica and Casey shared how obsessed they were, I of course had to try it.

I just got started this week and I’m hooked. Photo filters are cool.

Luke and I are on a quick trip to LA for some meetings (more on that later) and we want to instagram everything!!

Are you on? Here’s my link:  http://instagram.com/jillhsorensen/

Driving in the Beverly Hills flats. Luke took this one.

Above LA- the lights were so pretty before landing.

Great latte on Montana Avenue in Santa Monica a chilly morning.

    The sunsets here are insane.

Breakfast at our hotel. Luke will be annoyed that I post this, says he looks orange. I love this effect.

    Luke’s vision of the sunset.

If you have any great instagram tips, please leave them! I still need to learn how to fully use it.
